Satisfied
Send a sample, and maybe I’ll buy
Let me taste it and give it a try
You never know, I might like it a lot
You know I’ll give it all I got
Now, you don’t have to sell me
Honey, just tell me
You can be satisfied
Here comes trouble, on the double now
Just too late and I’m laid to waste
And I’m hooked on lovin'
Can’t do nothin
Tell me, honey, what’ya do
To get me so damn stuck on you
I’m just a little bit over my head
I’m seeing green lights when I should see red
Now, you don’t have to sell me
Honey, just tell me
You can be satisfied

1992. A seduction song, pure and simple. Not really romantic, just flirtatious.
I was advised by friends to throw in a light song between the heavies, and
this was it.
I had been learning how to three-finger pick using folk guitar
instruction books from the 60s. I had been at it for about 15 years, not
really following the program, and so I had all these licks of my own to
fill in the gaps. This bright little guitar theme evolved out of one of
those variations, and the melody and words just flowed right out.
